Rx. Scutellariae Huang Qin 15g Clears Heat and dries Dampness, Drains Fire and detoxifies Cools the Blood and stops bleeding and inhibits the growth of cancer cells.
With Zhi Zi, powerfully clears and drains lurking Heat from the Lungs with fever, fullness in the chest, cough with yellow sputum and epistaxis or hematemesis.
Fr. Gardeniae Zhi Zi 15g Clears Heat, reduces Fire, drains Damp-Heat, cools the Blood, relieves toxicity, reduces swelling, invigorates the Blood and inhibits the growth of cancer cells.
Rx. Scrophulariae Xuan Shen 18g Clears Heat, cools the Blood, nourishes Yin, softens hardness, dissipates nodules, transforms Phlegm-Heat, drains Fire and relieves toxicity.
With Jin Yin Hua and Gan Cao, for boils, carbuncles and furuncles.
With Sheng Di Huang and Mai Men Dong, for a sore, dry throat due to Deficiency Fire.
With Sheng Di Huang, for Excess or Deficiency Heat patterns.
Rx. Rehmanniae Sheng Di Huang 18g Clears Heat, cools the Blood, nourishes Yin, generates fluids.
Flos Lonicerae Jin Yin Hua 30g Clears Heat, resolves Fire toxicity and inhibits the growth of cancer cells.
With Gan Cao, for toxic swellings and sores.
With Gan Cao and Xuan Shen, for sloughing ulcers from Heat toxicity.
With Huang Qin, for suppurating boils that have not ulcerated, or have ulcerated but are not discharging pus.
Rx. Ophiopogonis Mai Men Dong 15g Moistens the Lungs, nourishes Yin and stops coughing.
With Sheng Di Huang, for hematemesis or epistaxis due to Yin Deficiency with Excess Heat.
Sm. Armeniacae Xing Ren 6g Stops coughing, calms wheezing and inhibits the growth of cancer cells.
With Mai Men Dong, for a dry cough due to Dryness and Heat injuring the Lungs.
